Parser Texting Terms

What Parser is

Parser is a text-message service operated by TVM Operations, LLC for the field teams of businesses that hire TVM (our Clients). Team members text job updates, photos, and voice memos to their Parser number. Parser replies with confirmations, invoices to approve, and short questions when a detail is missing (for example, a part's price). Parser may also text a Client's managers a short daily summary. Parser does not send marketing or promotional messages.

How team members opt in

A Client adds a team member to Parser, with the team member's knowledge, by giving TVM their name and mobile number as part of the Client's work tools. Parser then sends one welcome message confirming enrollment. It names the company, explains what Parser records, and includes these terms, HELP, and STOP instructions. After that, team members start conversations by texting their Parser number, and Parser's messages are replies to, or follow-ups on, what they sent. Parser only accepts messages from numbers on the Client's approved team list.

Example welcome message: "Parser for [Company]: Hi [Name], this is your Parser number -- save it as "Parser". Text job updates, photos and voice memos here; start with the job's address. Parser records what you send to build job records and invoices. [Company] never sees your messages themselves -- only the job records and activity totals. Msg frequency varies; msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Terms: tvmoperations.com/texting"

Message frequency

Message frequency varies with how often a team member texts Parser, typically a few replies per job, plus occasional notices. Parser doesn't send non-urgent messages (such as welcome messages) between 9 pm and 8 am.

Cost

TVM doesn't charge team members for Parser. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP to your Parser number at any time to stop receiving Parser texts. You'll receive one message confirming you've opted out. Reply START to opt back in.

Opting out of Parser doesn't change your employment. If you opt out, talk with your employer about another way to report job details.

Privacy

Parser uses your messages only to build job records and invoices. Your employer sees those records and activity totals, never your messages themselves. Photos and voice memos are deleted from our texting provider once Parser has read them, and message text is deleted after 90 days. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Carriers

Mobile carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include major U.S. carriers; availability may vary.
